Still Life Drawing and Painting Workshop (Full and Half Day)
Our Still Life Drawing and Painting Workshop touches on the many different key elements that make a great still life artwork. You will gain a better understanding of real observational drawing, as you view still life arrangements from a number of viewpoints. You will begin to understand composition, proportion and how to create light and dark in your work. We will look at the relationships of objects and colour, reflective surfaces, organic shapes and forms, and transparent objects. Throughout the workshop you will experiment with a number of drawing and mark making tools, to create some wonderful still life artwork, which you will be able to take away with you. Full demonstrations and support will be given throughout the day, as Paul guides you through a number of still life drawing and painting techniques.
Tea, coffee, soft drinks, cakes and biscuits are provided, and if you opt for the full day workshop, a delicious 2 course lunch is included.
